Hugo A. Haas, Jr.
March 17, 1939 — November 8, 2019
Hugo A. Haas, Jr., 80, of North Syracuse, passed away unexpectedly on Friday morning.
He was born on March 17, 1939 to the late Hugo A. Haas, Sr. and Helen E. Haas. Hugo climbed the ladder to management with Chicago Markets, before completing his career with Schnieder Packaging. He met and fell in love with Pat Perkins and the couple married on June 9, 1962. Hugo enjoyed camping, especially at Sunset Park Campground, watching the Yankees, Giants, and the Orangemen, and going to any and all casinos.
Hugo is survived by his wife of 57 years, Pat; their children, Terri (Scott) Kendall and John (Sue LaBrake) Haas; their grandchildren, Christopher (Courtney), Joshua (Stacie), and Ryan; his siblings, Paula Hoffmann, Doris DeCarlo, Blanche Michaels, Sharon Hardin, Frank Haas and Carl Haas; and many, many nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will take place at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 705 N. Main St., North Syracuse on Thursday, November 14, 2019 from 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM with a funeral service immediately following. Burial will take place in the Woodlawn Cemetery on Saturday, November 16, 2019 at 10 AM.
