Hristina Telonis

October 26, 1937 — February 16, 2018

Hristina Telonis, 80, of Manlius, N.Y. passed away peacefully surrounded by her family, at University Hospital on February 16, 2018.

Born in Nimfeo, Greece, she immigrated to the United States in 1987.

Predeceased by her husband of thirty-three years, George in 2016, and brother Dimitrios Pelekouthas in 2018.

She is survived by her step-daughter, Alexandra Nestopoolos (Pavlos); step-son Dr. James D. Telonis (Kelly); grandchildren, Kelly Ambroggio (Nino), George, Rina, Dimitrios, Filitsa and Shyanne; and great- grandchildren Michael and Steven; sisters, Anastasia of Syracuse, and sister-in-law, Despina of Greece; nieces and nephews, Eleni, Joyce, Theodoros, Gregory, Kostas, and Georgios.

Visitation will be Tuesday 9-9:30am at St. Sophia's Greek Orthodox Church, followed by a traditional Greek Orthodox funeral service.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Sophia's Greek Orthodox Iconography Fund, 325 Waring Rd., Syracuse, NY 13224, or St. Nektarios Greek Orthodox Monastery, 100 Anawanda Lake Rd., Roscoe, NY, 12776.
