Hoyt passed suddenly at Upstate University Hospital on Tuesday.
He is survived by his grandchildren, Christopher Taylor, Christina Centro; great granddaughter, Taylor Cefalo; and two brothers, James Barr and David Taylor.
Calling hours will be Friday from 4-6PM at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St., N. Syracuse. There will be no services.
