Howard E. Suppes, 81, of Syracuse, passed away on Friday. He was born August 20, 1930 in Lysander, NY. Howard served in the U.S. Navy and Reserves for 22 years. He was a former commander of the American Legion Post #188 and a member of the VFW Post # 951 in Clay. Howard was also a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Liverpool.
Surviving are his wife, Mary (Schreiner) of 62 years, two sons, John, David (Sandy), along with two grandchildren, Andrew and Travis and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday 11am at White Chapel Memorial Gardens. There are no calling hours.
Contributions in lieu of flowers may be made to St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Liverpool.
