Homer Eugene Satterfield
December 8, 1929 — February 7, 2022
Homer Eugene "Gene" Satterfield passed away February 7th, 2022 at the age of 92. He was born in Georgetown, Ohio to the late Homer and Mary (Foster) Satterfield.
He was predeceased by his sister, Betty; brother, Charles Robert "Bob" and has two surviving siblings, Lloyd and Mary.
Gene served in the United States Navy and attended the University of Cincinnati. He was employed by General Electric Company for over 30 years. He belonged to Andrews Memorial United Methodist Church, where he served in many capacities. He was also a former member of the North Syracuse Optimist Club. Gene was a classic car enthusiast and belonged to several car and truck clubs, the CNY Mopar Club, The Oneida Lake Region Antique Auto Club and the CNY ATHS Truck Club.
Gene was predeceased by his wife, Jean (Broomhall) on September 3rd 2021, and is survived by his son, Kenneth (Joyce) and grandchildren, James and Jessica Tanner (Jacob).
Burial will be at North Syracuse Cemetery with a private family service.
