Henry T. "Hank" Donahue, 87, of Clay, passed away on Tuesday June 6, 2023 at the VA Medical Center. Henry was born in Binghamton, NY on September 23, 1935 son of the late Charles and Grace Donahue.

He served in the US Army from 1955-57. He was very dedicated to his Faith. Some of his dedications were: Monday Night Rosary at the Marian Center, Thursday Night Charismatic Prayer Group at Christ the King, Saturday Morning Mens Group at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton. Hank was very active in the Pro-Life Movement in Syracuse. He and his wife Louise were very passionate with their work as founders of the Circle of Hope.

He was predeceased by his loving wife, Louise of 61 years, his son, Thomas Donahue, granddaughter, Sarah Giamartino, son-in-law, Kurt Beek, along with his three sisters and three brothers.

He is survived by his children, Susan Donahue (Michael Durkin), Patricia Beek, Gary (Maryestelh) Donahue, nine grandchildren, four great grandchildren, brother-in-law, Julius Bruggeman, along with several nieces, nephews and many friends especially his two close friends; Tom Burkett and Lynn Halloway.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 13th from 4-7pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 705 N. Main St., N. Syracuse. A funeral mass will be held on Wednesday, June 14th at 10am at Christ the King Church in Liverpool. Burial will take place at Our Lady of Peace Cemetery.

The family would like to thank the staff at the VA Medical Center for their special care they gave him in his final days.
