Helen Zimmer, 79 of Warners, NY, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, May 14th, 2023. Born in Syracuse, NY on February 17th, 1944 to the late Francis Wiley and Mary Macekur.
She enjoyed bowling, NASCAR and crocheting. Helen is survived by her children, Shelley (Jim) Trace and John L. Zimmer; grandsons, Michael Saunders and Ryan Trace; great-grandchildren, Jaylin and Grayson Saunders; sister, Linda Wert and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Predeceased by her granddaughter, Jasmine in 1998 and her husband, John Zimmer in 2011.
Calling hours will be held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals on Thursday, May 18, 2023 from 5-7pm. Graveside service will take place on Friday, May 19th, 2023, 10am at Riverview Cemetery, Baldwinsville, NY.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Nascentia Health Charitable Foundations and Hospice, CNY.
