Helen W. Borchik, 85, of the Valley, passed away Saturday, after a brief illness. She was born in Shenandoah, PA, then moved to Syracuse in 1946. Helen worked for Loblaws, Inc. and Onondaga Savings Bank. She was predeceased by her husband, John; son, John Jr. and daughter Helen Sue.
She is survived by her sons, Robert (LeighAnn), James (Palma), Daniel (Karen); daughter, Marian (Thomas); sixteen grandchildren and eighteen great grandchildren; a brother, Jack Dolphin; a sister, Madeline; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Services will be Monday, 10 AM at St. James Church. Burial will follow at Onondaga Valley Cemetery. Calling hours will be Sunday from 2-5PM at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St. N. Syracuse.
