Helen Marie (Miller) Mather, 87, of N. Syracuse, passed away Wednesday.
Helen loved to knit and was known for her baskets of yarn. She was also an avid reader.
She was predeceased by her brothers, Robert and Frederick Miller and sisters, Thelma Dausman and Thalia Baker.
Survivors include her loving husband Albert W. Mather, Jr.; her sons, Michael (Janet) and Dann Mather; grandchildren, Dann Jr., Marc, Bryan and Kaitlyn; 3 great-grandsons and 1 great-granddaughter; brother William Miller and many nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be 5:30-7:30pm at New Comer Funeral Home, N. Syracuse. All other services will be private.
Donations may be made to the Carol M. Baldwin Breast Cancer Research Fund of CNY, PO BOX 356, Camillus, NY 13031.
