Helen C. Kolodziejczyk

Helen Kolodziejczyk came into this world on May 30, 1934 and left peacefully August 24, 2024 in the comfort of her home.

Many family members and close friends knew Helen as "Shaggy ". She worked at Community General Hospital for over 30 years and following retirement she continued to volunteer there for many more. Shaggy loved to bake delicious desserts, play golf, bowl, garden, and her family and friends. Her sense of humor will be greatly missed.

She is survived by her loving companion Carol Ferguson; younger sister, Joni Kolodziejczyk; and many nieces and nephews. Auntie Helen, "Shaggy", is going to be sorely missed. 

Calling hours will be held Thursday, September 5, 2024 from 2-4PM at New Comer Cremations and Funerals, where a memorial service will follow at 4PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Shaggy's memory to HumaneCNY, CNY SPCA, and Helping Hounds.
