Helen G. Harwood, 85, of Brewerton, passed away on Wednesday at St. Joseph's Hospital, with her husband by her side. Helen was born in Syracuse on March 20, 1937 daughter of the late William and Mary McNish. Helen wintered in Florida for many years with her husband. She was an avid bowler, also enjoyed traveling and being with her family.
She is survived by her husband, Norman, 2 sons, David Harwood, Steven (JoAnn) Harwood, 4 grandchildren; Jarod, Emma, Matthew (Courtney), Jennifer, January (Mark), 4 great grandchildren, her brother, Richard (Sue) McNish, along with nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday Oct. 18th from 4-7pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 705 N. Main St., N. Syracuse.
