Helen B. Harper, 92, of Mattydale, passed away April 14, 2022. Helen was born in Massena, New York on July 19, 1929 to John and Salome Brownell. Helen retired as a secretary from the FBI in Los Angeles, California. In her free time, she enjoyed participating in church functions.
She was preceded in death by father, John W. Brownell; mother, Salome A. Brownell; and two sisters, Cynthia Cooper and Theresa McGowan.
She is survived by her sister, Elizabeth Shea; brother, Robert W. Brownell; nieces, Patricia Shea, Denise Shea-Maclane, Cathy Peck, Debbie Newton; nephews Sean Cooper, John McGowan, Kenneth McGowan, Matthew McGowan and Danny Brownell; and several great and great-great nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Friday April 22, 2022 at 1:00PM at North Syracuse Cemetery. Memorial contributions in Helen's name may be made to the American Heart Association, 7272 Greenville Ave Dallas, TX 75231.
