Helen Allice Bowman Stethers, 88, of Syracuse, passed away Tuesday. Born in Constantia, she was a 1937 Graduate of the Central Square HS and a 1940 graduate of St. Joseph's School of Nursing. Helen retired from University Hospital as a registered nurse. She is predeceased by her husband, Robert Stethers (1998), children, Jacqueline Ladd (1994) and Howard Stethers (2003).
She is survived by two daughters, Susanne Brew of Dunnellon, FL, Debbie Dunlap of Constantia; two sons, John Stethers of North Syracuse, Joseph Stethers of Huntersville, NC; 17 grand children and 19 great grandchildren.
Services will be Private. Burial will be in the West Monroe Cemetery. New Comer Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
