Hector L. Cruz

Hector L. Cruz, known to the community as "Tingo", sadly passed away on December 3, 2020.

He is survived by his loving wife, Nilsa Santos and children, Ricardo Cruz, Hector Cruz, Gloria Cruz, Luis Cruz, Jose Cruz and Rafael Cruz. He leaves behind twenty-one grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; and many brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews in Central New York, Texas and Puerto Rico.

He was predeceased by his mother, Petra Santiago and father, Hilario Dela Cruz.

Hector was an avid farmer who worked at Sorbello's Farm in Fulton, New York. He was considered a family man who very much enjoyed the outdoors, who loved fishing and hunting, and working on cars. He lived a humble life and if you knew him, you would even consider him family. He was someone who would deliver food to his closest friends daily.

He lived his life full of adventure from traveling back home to Puerto Rico to visit his family. He even enjoyed eating homemade food and lots of sweets.

He will be deeply missed by his family and friends and all who knew him.
