Heather Lyn (Loomis) Thompson

Heather Lyn (Loomis) Thompson died at her home in Massachusetts on Thursday after a long battle with brain cancer.
Heather was born in Syracuse, NY on August 18, 1967 daughter of Willard and Irma Loomis. She graduated from JD High School and Bryant & Stratton. Heather worked in the accounting field at Penske Truck Leasing for 16 years. An avid knitter, Heather founded and maintained MK World Live and taught machine knitting both publicly and privately.
Besides her mother from DeWitt, she leaves behind her husband of 25 years, Robert, Jr. her 5 children, Robert, Orlando, FL, Paul of Phoenix, NY, Michelle of Liverpool, NY, Jonathan (stationed in Japan), Belynda of Liverpool, NY; along with her 9 grandchildren. She also leaves behind her siblings; Tracey of Syracuse, William of Colorado, Shawn of Syracuse and Jennifer of Utah.
She was a dedicated wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend. She will be most remembered for being a fun loving person and her ability to find joy in everything in her life. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Calling hours will be held on Friday 12/21 from 11am-1pm at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St., North Syracuse. Services will be held at the funeral home at 1pm.
