Harry R. Smith Sr., 89, of Baldwinsville, passed away Thursday at James Square. He was a WWII veteran serving in the Army. Retired from Interstate Motor Freight and was an active member of Teamsters Local 317. He is predeceased by his son, Harry Jr.
He is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Helen L.; four children, Betty (Robert Sutton) LaCelle, Linda (George) Millet, Richard (Cindy) Smith and Raymond (Kathleen) Smith; 16 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren; a great great grandson; four siblings, Jerome, Clara, Dorothy and Frank.
Services will be Tuesday, 1PM at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St., N. Syracuse. Burial will be at the Onon. Co. Veterans Cemetery. Calling hours will be Monday from 4-7PM at the funeral home.
