Harry Rush Palmer, 90, of Camillus, New York died Tuesday, April 24, 2012 at Chittenango Center Rehab and Healthcare Center.
Harry had many interests including, classical music, gardening, reading, poetry and languages. He had a strong work ethic, providing for his family as a tool & die maker.
A WWII veteran, he served in the Military Police.
He was predeceased by his loving wife of 53 years, Edna Proctor Palmer in 2002.
He is survived by his daughters, Yvonne Palmer of Camillus, New York and Bernice Scaggs of Clay, New York; son, Reginald (Sherry) Palmer of Warners, New York; grandchildren, Niki (Garrett) Campbell, Charles (Lisa) House, Jessica (Craig) Harvey and Reggie Palmer; great-grandchildren, Morgan, Lizi, Elijah, Devlin, Parker and Rachel.
Services will be 10 AM on Monday, April 30, 2012 at New Comer Funeral Home, North Syracuse. Burial will be in Pine Plains Cemetery, Clay, New York. Calling hours will be from 2 to 5 PM on Sunday, April 29, 2012 at the funeral home, 705 North Main Street.
