Harry Dewitt Moebs, Sr passed away in his sleep on December 7th. He was born May 18, 1923 in Syracuse, NY to John and Helen Moebs.
Harry attended Lafayette High School and enlisted in the Navy his senior year. He served 1943-1946 as a gunner's mate seaman first class. He married Loretta I. Raymond on October 29, 1947. He retired from Porter Cable/Rockwell international with 36 years of service.
He was predeceased by his wife Loretta I. Moebs, son-in-law David Potter, and granddaughter Jennifer Morgan.
Harry is survived by his son Harry D. Moebs, Jr (Deborah), daughter, Kim I. Potter, five grandchildren, and 14 great-grandchildren. He was a dog lover and cherished all his many dogs.
Burial will be private next summer.
