Harry J. Naylor, 86, of Clay, passed away on Thursday at home with family by his side. He was born on July 7, 1926 in Syracuse, son of Robert and Dorothy Naylor. He served in the US Navy from 1944-46 and retired from IGA Markets as a meat cutter. He co-owned Lock III Restaurant in Fulton, NY. Harry enjoyed fishing, hunting, the outdoors and was an avid gardener.
Surviving are his wife Georgine, of 65 years, 2 sons; Christopher Naylor, Richard (Diane) Naylor, daughter, Carol Bell (Marc Gaiger), 5 grandchildren; Matthew (Gwen) Bell, Peter Bell, Katherine Doolittle, Keelin Naylor and MacKenzie Naylor and a sister, Laura Jane (Bernard) Kurtz.
Calling hours will be held on Tuesday from 4-7pm at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St., North Syracuse. A memorial mass will be held on Wednesday 9:30 am at Sacred Heart Church, 8229 Brewerton Rd., Cicero.
