Harry Orton, 76, of Cicero, passed away at his home with his family at his side, on Tuesday. He served eight years with the National Guard and two years in the Army. He retired from Crouse Hinds after 40 years of service. Harry loved his movies, hunting, fishing, bowling and camping. He was predeceased by a daughter, Christine Loucks in 1997 and a son, Michael Orton in 2012.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Antonia (Pawelek) Orton; daughter, Mary (Ron) Roberts; sons, Robert (Kate) Orton and Thomas (Maryanne) Orton; 16 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
Calling hours will be Saturday from 2-5PM at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St., N. Syracuse. Services will follow at 5PM.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Lung Assoc., Hospice and Home Aides of CNY.
