Harold E. Proctor

Harold E. Proctor, 89, of Clay, passed away peacefully on Thursday March 20, 2025 at Upstate at Community General Hospital. Harold was born in Williamstown, NY on November 8, 1935 son of the late Harold and Hazel Proctor.

He was also predeceased by his sister, Edna (Harry) Palmer.

He is survived by his niece, Yvonne Palmer; niece Bernice Scaggs; nephew Reginald (Sheryle) Palmer; great niece Niki (Garrett) Campbell; great nephew Charles (Lisa) House II; great niece Jessica (Craig) Harvey; great nephew Reginald (Tina) Palmer II; as well as extended family and friends that loved him.

Harold loved John Wayne and Westerns, Collecting Family Heirlooms and Antiques and was an avid History buff. He loved to spend time gardening and listening to classic Country music especially Johnny Cash and that of the Grand Ole Opry.

Harold worked for Alberta Crowe Letter Service for 60 years before he retired in 2019. Harold also ran his own maintenance business for many years.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday March 27, 2025 at 12PM at Pine Plains Cemetery, Clay NY.
