Harold Francis Preston

Harold Francis Preston, Jr., 69, passed away July 2, 2021 at Van Duyn Nursing Home where he resided since August 2019. Harold was born in Syracuse and lived most of his life in Phoenix, NY where he enjoyed tending to his vegetable garden and helping his neighbors. During the winter months to keep busy, he would assemble jigsaw puzzles and mount them in wooden frames. When he was younger, Harold was employed in the grocery business, working for P & C for many years. He was last employed by Armstrong Mold Corporation.

Harold is survived by his son, Harold "Hank" Preston III his wife, Charity, and grandson, Alexander all of Sandusky OH ; sisters, Kathy Wright of Liverpool, Brenda (Glenn) Vollmer of Central Sqaure and Barbara Preston of Phoenix; brothers, Howard (Claudia) Preston of Baldwinsville and Jeffrey Preston of Liverpool and several nieces and nephews.

Harold was predeceased by his parents, Harold and Leta Preston; sister, Judy Preston; brother-in-law, Raymond Wright and his great-nephew, Ryan Misener.

The family would like to thank Van Duyn; especially Joanne Port, Nurse Manager, Theresa Garafolo, Social Worker and all staff on the 3rd floor for the wonderful care provided to Harold.

In respect of Harold's wishes there will be no services.
