Harold A. LaVere, Jr., 74, passed away on Sunday at home with his loving family by his side.
He was born on September 22, 1941 son of the late Harold and Beatrice LaVere. He served in the US Navy, he enjoyed the outdoors and he was predeceased by his wife, Barbara in 2014 and his grandson, Shane Michael Hall.
Harold is survived by his children; Timothy D. (Heidi) LaVere, Norman E. (Heather) Hall, Robert J. Hall, Lisa M. (Henry) Southwell, 10 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, brothers, David LaVere, Steve LaVere, sister, Susan Mills, along with many nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held on Wednesday from 3-6pm at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St., N. Syracuse. An additional hour of visitation will be held on Thursday from 10-11am at Buckley Road Baptist Church, with services at 11am. Burial to follow at Pulaski Cemetery, Rte. 11, Pulaski.
