Grenville Howard Bice, 73, of Liverpool, passed away September 20, 2024. Grenville was born in Ogdensburg, New York on April 4, 1951 to Howard and Patricia Bice. Grenville retired from the B'ville Diner, where he was employed for many years as a cook. He enjoyed cooking for his family including, spaghetti, homemade sauce, and steaks, made perfectly every time. He was an avid golfer and member of the Glenwood Golf Course. He earned the nickname, "The Reverend" after creating their Sunday morning skins games and Monday night leagues. In childhood, he also obtained the nickname, "Lefty" as he was the only sibling that was left handed. Grenville had a love of motorcycles and fishing on Oneida lake with his wife, Alice. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his parents Howard and Patricia Bice; and brother, Gary Bice.
Grenville is survived by his wife of 47 years, Alice Bice; children, Dawn Militi, Scott (Michele) Braley, Stephen (Anne) Braley and Barbara Jean; grandchildren, Tiffany (Allen), Amanda, Brittney (Matt) and Jeremy; sisters, Robin Naples, Karen Bice and Lori Moore; and several great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
In keeping with Grenville's wishes, there will be no services. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made in Grenville's memory to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society and the American Brain Foundation.
