Gregory W. Gardner, 55, of DeWitt, passed away on Tuesday at St. Joseph's Hospital surrounded by his family. He retired from Onondaga County Water Environment Protection. He enjoyed hunting and gardening.
Surviving are his wife Marlene, of 32 years, daughter, Pamela (Andrew) Porter, Durham, NC, and son, James (JP) Gardner, Syracuse.
Contributions may be made to the SPCA of CNY or to the National Arbor Day Foundation, Trees In Memory Program.
A celebration of Gregory's life will be held on Friday 1pm at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St., North Syracuse.
