Gregory Steven Blase, 63, of Baldwinsville, passed away at home, in the arms of his wife. He was the son of Joseph John and Minerva Blase. Greg taught special needs students at Gillette Road Middle School. A loving husband, son, and brother, he was a member of Abundant Life Christian Center.
Greg is survived by his wife, Sharon Blase; sister-in-law, Noreen Hoeffner; brother, Joseph J. (Jo) Blase, Jr.; aunts and uncle Henry and Adele Mazzie, Helen Gregory; and several cousins.
A celebration of his life will be held later this spring, and condolences may be offered at 18 Margaret St., Baldwinsville, NY 13027.
Memorial donations may go to the Foundation Fighting Blindness.
