Grant A. Johnson, 78 of Syracuse, NY, passed away on Wednesday, April 3, 2024. He was born on May 22, 1945 in Syracuse, NY.
Grant is survived by his children; Grant (Sandra) Johnson, Jill Cowan, Marie (Shawn) Soper, Linda Johnson, Shirley Davis, Michelle Johnson, Cindy Wemett and Mark Johnson; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews; siblings, Wanda Houghton, Patricia (Peter) Payne, Ray Gerou, Denise (Daniel) Miller, James Johnson and Robert Johnson.
Grant was proceeded by his father, Grant A. Johnson, mother, Mattie B. Braungart; Tracy Disotelle, Phyllis Ellioff, Gloria Wagner, Diane Hollister and Harry Johnson.
Grant was retired from the DPW of Syracuse, NY. For many years Grant enjoyed the outdoors, walks, riding his bike, chatting with family and friends, loved to collect things he called treasures and loved his old time music.
Calling hours will be held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals on Tuesday, April 23, 2024 from 4-7.
