Grant E. North, 69, of Bridgeport passed away Sunday. Born in Oneida, NY he was a veteran of the US Navy where he served as a Sonar Technician on the USS Yorktown. Grant worked at New Process Gear for 30 years retiring in 1992. He was a 30 year member of the South Shore Rod & Gun Club, Cicero American Legion and the CNY Trap League.
He is survived by his wife; Linda, daughters; Cheryl, Michele Wimmer, Shari Marshall, Laura Wimmer, a son; Grant Jr., 9 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
Services will be Saturday at 12 PM at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St., North Syracuse. Calling Hours will be from 11 AM – 12 PM before the service.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Hospice of CNY.
