Grady McClain, 72, passed away on Friday with his loving family and friends by his side.
He graduated from Center Ridge High School in Midway, AL.
Grady worked for General Motors in Terrytown, NY for over 20 years. He loved to go fishing and watch any kind of sporting event.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Welthia and Lula Mae McClain; sons, Grady McClain Jr. and Joseph Mclain; daughter, Carla Flemming and brother, Leroy McClain.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Coco McClain; children, Lisa McClain of New Jersey, Teresa Mclain of Virginia and Doneitha Gunter; grandchildren, Lamar Jones, Nakita McClain, Jalisa Jones, Jazz Mclain and Keon Lawson; great grandchildren, Elijah Jones and Phoenix Jones; siblings, Cleotis (Annie) McClain of Miami, FL, Mary L. Cowart of Rochester, NY, Virginia (Anderson) Bembry of Syracuse, NY, Ollie (Rogers) Hall of Syracuse, NY, Gracie L. Jackson of Rochester, NY, Welthia (Victoria) McClain Jr. of Clayton, AL, and Ranzell (Sheila) McClain of Midway, AL; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will take place, Friday, 3-6 PM at New Comer Cremations and Funerals, N. Syracuse. A service will follow.
