Gordon Hiteman Davis

September 20, 1933 — January 16, 2021

Gordon Hiteman Davis, 87, of Liverpool, peacefully passed away with his loving wife at his side. He grew up in West Winfield, graduating from Mt. Markham High School in 1951. He served in the US Army from 1953-1956. He then worked at his grandfathers leather business before going to Stanley Company where he worked 22 years as a Regional Sales Manager. He received many sales awards and was a million dollar club recipient. After retiring, he was an avid volunteer at Literacy Volunteers where he served on the board of directors. He also taught and tested students. He was a member of the Onondaga Historical Society & Friends of the Liverpool Library and served as a Warden at our St. Matthew's Episcopal Church. His #1 passion was train models and real ones. He authored two books in Japan, with his long time friend Moto. Gordon and his train buddy's had a model train layout at a local mall. They loved to entertain the children at the malls and at local hospitals.

Gordon was predeceased by his parents Kenneth & Helen Davis.

He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Sandy, his brothers, Jerry (Carmen), Steven (Sally), his sister Julie and her companion Mr. Jaime Harris, his sister-in-law, Arlene Seamans, along with many wonderful nieces, nephews and his cherished cat, "Mr. Kitty".

There are no calling hours. A family private service will be held in the Spring at the West Winfield family home.
