Gordon A. Bourgeois

Gordon Bourgeois, 96, of Cleveland, passed away August 12, 2024. 

Gordon was born in Lowville, New York on October 21, 1927 to the late Floyd and Eunice Bourgeois. 

Gordon retired in 1986 from Santaro Trucking Company. He was also a member of the Local 317 Teamsters. He was the true patriarch of his family and was a devoted Husband, Father and Grandfather. 

He was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Bourgeois; three brothers, Gerald Bourgeois, Walter Bourgeois and Phillip Bourgeois; four sisters, Joyce Marco, Phyllis Bourgeois, Louise Cotter, Lois Yoost.

He is survived by his children, Kevin (Terri) Bourgeois, Karen Dailey and Kelly Bourgeois; five grandchildren, Cory Bourgeois, Cody Bourgeois, Marissa Bourgeois, Jordan Bourgeois and Carrie Sgroi; six great grandchildren, Gabriel, Masen, Amelia, Jameson, Charlie and Emmit; four sisters, Rita Fisher, Lucille Webb, Katherine (James) Treen, Linda (Terry) Cook; two brothers, Paul (Mary) Bourgeois and Dan (Nancy) Bourgeois.

A graveside service will take place on Monday in St. Mary’s Cemetery in Cleveland, NY at 10 AM.
