Gloria Joseph Denis Lachance [AKA: Glo or Popeye] passed away peacefully on May 28th, 2022. He was 91.
Gloria was born in Sacré-Coeur-de-Marie, Québec on April 23, 1931.
Gloria was predeceased by his parents, Omer and Desneiges, his sisters, Carmen and Marie-Stella, his brothers, Moise and Jean-Luc and his wife of 64 years, Angele (Desrochers).
He is survived by one brother, Raymond (Marie-Rose) in Thetford Mines, Québec and one sister, Hélène in Montréal, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Gloria and Angele, moved to Syracuse, NY in 1963 where he worked as a mason until the age of 65. In his retirement, he and Angele were antique dealers and Gloria also did side jobs such as window replacement and junk removal. Gloria was an avid outdoorsman enjoying fishing, camping, snowmobiling and golf.
He loved talking with people and never met a stranger. He will be missed dearly by his family, friends, and neighbors.
There will be no services as per his request.
