Gloria Gallanis Dayton, 69, a native of Syracuse, NY, went to be with her Lord October 7th at a Hospice near her home in Summerfield, FL. She lived in Syracuse and worked at Unity Mutual Insurance Co. and Syracuse Savings Bank until her marriage in 1965. Upon which time she relocated to Washington State and was a homemaker and helped in her husband's business. She enjoyed singing in her church choir and volunteering in the church office. She also volunteered at a local hospital and police sub-station.
She is survived by her loving husband Marlin of 40 years; son, Darrin; brother, George Gallanis (Wilma); sister, Marian Gallanis Bullock (Charles); and five nephews and nieces.
Services will be Saturday at 11 AM in Faith Lutheran Church, Cicero. Burial will be in Onondaga Valley Cemetery. Fiends may visit on Friday from 4-8 PM at New Comer Family Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St., No. Syracuse.
