Gloria M. DeCarlo, 88 of Syracuse, NY, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 2nd , 2022.
Born on July 28th, 1933 in Syracuse, NY to the late Carmen and Margaret Napoli.
She was a dance instructor in the Syracuse area schools for many years. She was also a member of, and instructor for, The Ninita Johns Studio Of The Dance and The Syracuse Ballet Theatre. She was an avid Yankee fan.
She is survived by her children, Cheryl (Bill) Marinelli, Denise Parker and Margaret DeCarlo; grandchildren, Angela, Kyle, Jade, Lisa, Adam, Taryn and Hailey; great-grandchildren, Dylan, Taylor, Alexander, Lucas, Dominic, Mila, Christian, Austin, Charlotte and Savannah; and great-grandchild, Aaliyah.
She was predeceased by her former husband, Harry DeCarlo Jr. and granddaughter, Michele Simao.
A special thank you to the staff at Onondaga Center for the care and kindness they gave to Gloria over the last 3 years.
Calling hours will take place at New Comer Cremations & Funerals on Wednesday, January 12th, 2022 from 4-7pm. Service will follow at 7pm.
