Gloria D. Webb

Gloria D. Webb, 84, of North Syracuse, NY, passed away on Saturday, August 4, 2012, while under the care of the staff at St. Joseph's Hospital Health Center. She was surrounded by family when she went home to be with the Lord.
Originally Gloria Dean Cochrane, she was born on January 11, 1928, in Phoenix, NY, the daughter of Edward James and Irene Cochrane. On June 20, 1961, Gloria was united in marriage with Jason E. Webb; following their marriage, the couple made their home in Syracuse. She was a long-standing member of Andrews Memorial United Methodist Church and enjoyed spending her spare time at her family's cottage near the town of Pulaski, NY. Gloria cared unconditionally and tried her best to ensure everyone felt loved. Her smile was contagious, and she lived each day freely and with purpose.
She is survived by her husband, Jason E. Webb; by her sisters and their husbands, Beverly (Fred) Donabella of Oswego, Margaret (Harry) Butler of Radisson, and Gladys Sponable of Port Byron; her brother and his wife, Charles (Regina) Cochrane of Baldwinsville; her sons, Jason S. Webb of North Syracuse, Edward (Carol) DeWolf of Port Byron, and Robert DeWolf of Tampa, FL; her daughter, Patricia Dougherty of E. Syracuse; her grandchildren, Jim, Joseph, and Michael DeWolf, Jennifer Lucas, Mathew DeWolf, Karin Thorne, Kristopher Glassford, Justin and Jacob Webb and Russell Brown; as well as several nieces, nephews, great-grandchildren, and other close relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her parents; her brothers, Ralph, Donald, and Edward ("Junior") Cochrane; her son, Frederick John DeWolf; and her granddaughter, Kimberly Glassford.
A Calling hour will be Thursday from 4-5PM at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St., N. Syracuse. Services will follow at 5PM.
