Glenn E. Roberts, 87, of Bridgeport, passed away on Monday at St. Joseph's Hospital with his family by his side. He was born in Bridgeport son of Elton and Laura Roberts. He retired from Robert H. Law Excavation and was a member of the Teamsters Local 317. Glenn loved to bowl, mow his lawn and plow snow. He was a Past Master of the Masons Nortrip Lodge 998.
He was predeceased by his wife Alice and sister Ruth Bryerton. Glenn is survived by sons; Richard (JoAnn) Roberts, Donald (Laurie) Roberts, daughter Jeanne Brown, grandchildren; Diane (Bob) Popa, Deborah (Mike) Vanderworken, Richard Roberts, Kevin Roberts, LeeAnn Stephan, Kristy Roberts, 4 great grandchildren,sisters, Rena Metz, N.M., Barbara Damon, along with nieces and nephews.
Services will be held on Friday 10am at New Comer Funeral Home, N. Syracuse. Burial will take place in Pine Plains Cemetery. Calling hours will be held on Thursday from 4-7pm at the funeral home.
Contributions may be made to the Bridgeport Fire Dept.
