Glenn Brown departed this earthly life on December 16, 2016 at Loretta Health and Rehabilitation in Syracuse, New York.
Mr. Glenn Brown was a long time resident of Syracuse, NY for over 45 years.
Glenn and Rebecca Brown were married in Syracuse, NY in 1969. They raised 8 wonderful children together. He retired from Crouse-Hinds Corporation after 29 years of service. He enjoyed fishing, cooking, playing spades with family and friends as well as visits back to his home in Mississippi. He also enjoyed spending time with all of his grandchildren. Glenn Brown was loved and cherished most by his family and friends for his sense of humor and his ability to touch everyone's life with laughter.
Mr. Glenn Brown leaves to mourn his passing and cherish his sisters Janie Grady of Mississippi; Marlene Cox of Syracuse and brother Charles Brown of Georgia; his wife Rebecca Brown of Syracuse; four sons Stanley Glenn (Fiona) Brown; Lamar (Barbara) Brown of California; Timothy Brown of Florida; Anthony Brown of Syracuse; four daughters Annissa (Chris) Scott of Syracuse; Latresha (Kenneth) Boyd of Georgia; Jenaye (Paul) Rhinehardt of Syracuse; Glenda (Leon) Saddler of Maryland; 10 grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
Calling hours will be on Tuesday, December 27th at New Comer Funeral Home from 4-7PM.
Funeral Services will be on Wednesday, December 28th at New Comer Funeral Home from 10AM-1PM.
Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery, Syracuse.
