Gladys Jayne Wilmer, 91, of North Syracuse, passed away peacefully at her daughter's home, Mary Harris.
She was born on August 2, 1923. She was a life member of NAVAC and worked for Visiting Nurses of CNY for 17 years. Gladys was a wonderful mother and loved her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great granddaughter.
She was predeceased by her husband Frederick Wilmer in 1986 and sons-in-law, Michael Koehle, Eugene Finkle and Paul Keyes, Jr.
Surviving are her 9 children: Shirley (Floyd) Frye, Watertown, Nancy (Dominick) Paone, Bishop, TX, Bonnie Koehle, N. Syracuse, Marjorie Haberer, Liverpool, Mary (Verne) Harris,N. Syracuse, Frederick, Jr. (Crystal) Wilmer, N. Syracuse, Gary (Carol) Wilmer, N. Syracuse, Diania Finkle (Tim), Clay, Jacklyn (Wade) Keyes, N. Syracuse, 26 grandchildren, several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held on Sunday from 1-4pm at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St., N. Syracuse.
Services will be held on Monday 10am at the Bellewood Baptist Church.
Burial will take place at North Syracuse Cemetery.
Contributions may be made to NAVAC.
