Gladys M. Gray, 95, formerly of Mattydale, a passionate SU Orangeman and NY Yankees fan, passed away Monday at Chittenango Center. Born September 27, 1916 in Chazy, NY. Retired in 1987 from Syracuse Supply Co. where she held an employee record for almost zero absenteeism for over three decades. She was predeceased by her husband, Walter in 1970.
She is survived by three sisters, Myrtle Grace of CT, Natalie Rugar of VA and Leita (Raymond) LaClair of Plattsburgh, NY; several nieces and nephews and many loving friends.
Calling hour will be Tuesday from 12-1PM at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St., N. Syracuse. Services will follow at 1PM. Burial will be in Assumption Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Gladys' name to the American Heart Assoc. Family and friends wish to thank the staff at Chittenango Center, Dr. Indira Koshy and Dr. Mark Rothschild for aiding in Gladys' longevity. We were blessed to have her brighten our lives for all these years.
