Gertrude S. Burdick, 100, of N. Syracuse, passed away on Tuesday. She was born October 1, 1911 in Syracuse. She retired from General Electric in 1974. She enjoyed her summers up in Chaumont Bay on Lake Ontario, she enjoyed gardening and was a member of the Senior Citizens Club in N. Syracuse.
Surviving are one son Gary (Linda) Spangler, West Monroe, one daughter, Joyce Barber, Central Square, 8 grandchildren along with several great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband William, a son Raymond Spangler, Jr., a daughter Eleanor McCarty and a grandson Wayne McCarty.
Services will be held on Saturday 10 am at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St., N. Syracuse. Calling hours will be held on Friday from 3-5pm at the funeral home.
