Gertrude Frances George, 84, of Syracuse died Friday at University Hospital. Born in Fulton, she was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great grandmother.
She is survived by her husband Alvin L. George, four sons; Robert (Carol) Terpening of Syracuse, Richard (Sue) Terpening of Auburn, Kenneth Terpening of Syracuse, Alan George of Rochester, one daughter; Joan (Ray) Kimber of Syracuse, 11 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great-grandchildren.
Services will be held on Monday at 4 pm at New Comer Family Funeral Home. Spring burial will be in Mt. Adnah Cemetery, Fulton. Friends are invited to call Monday from 1-4 pm at the funeral home, 705 North Main St., North Syracuse.
Contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association of CNY
