Gerhard F. "Gary" Bippus, 63, of Clay, passed away suddenly at work on Friday. He was born Oct. 13, 1951 in Germany. Gary worked at Home Depot for 19 years as a kitchen designer. He is predeceased by his parents, Waltraud and Fritz Bippus; a nephew, Kenneth Anson; mother and father-in-law, Irene and Merrill Rowley, all from Baldwinsville.
Gary is survived by his wife, Joan (Rowley) Bippus of 39 years; 2 daughters, Jessica (Patrick) Hoffman and Lindsey A. Bippus of Clay; 3 grandchildren, Patrick, Emily and Ryan Hoffman; 3 sisters, Heidi Bippus, Lola (Joe) Vecchio and Monica Pratt; 9 nieces and nephews and several cousins.
Gary loved his family, hunting, fishing and motorcycles.
Calling hours will be held Tuesday 4-7PM at New Comer Funeral Home, N. Syracuse with a service to follow at 7PM.
