Gerard J. "Gerry" Brown, 83, of Liverpool passed away on Monday.

Born in St. Louis, MO, he retired from the US Air Force after 37 years of service as a Contract Officer. Gerry enjoyed building model airplanes; some are displayed in museums in Geneva, NY. Gerry did a lot of volunteer work for the Sacred Heart Apostolate and Franciscan Place in Carousel Center. He also belonged to The Men's Group at St. Rose of Lima Church.

Gerry is survived by his wife of 58 years, Patricia; three children, Jan-Marie Brown of Baldwinsville, NY, Gerard (Kathy) Brown, Jr. of Florida and David Brown of Ladson, SC and a grandson, Justin Brown of Florida.

Calling hours will be Sunday 4-7 PM at New Comer Funeral Home, North Syracuse.

Mass of Christian burial will be Monday 10 AM at St. Rose of Lima Church, North Syracuse with entombment to follow in Our Lady of Peace Mausoleum.
