Geraldine Michelle Revette

Geraldine (Gerri/Denee) Michelle Revette, passed away unexpectedly on September 18th, 2020, at the age of 52, with her beloved daughter by her side.

Gerri is survived by her loving family: mother and father, Charlene and Jerome (Jerry) Revette, Stepmother Sharlene Revette, Brothers Jerry and Cody Revette, Sister Gina Revette, Daughter Ashley Kelly (O'Neil), Grandson Jayden Kelly, and nephews James Bond, Jerome and Luke Revette.

Gerri was born on August 28th, 1968 in Syracuse NY. Gerri attended Charles W. Baker High School and graduated from Bryant & Stratton College with an Associates degree in Accounting. Gerri was a dedicated and hard-working employee of Berkshire Bank. Previously, she worked for Coca-Cola as a Distribution Route Specialist & Wells Fargo as a Litigation Specialist. She was admired by her colleagues and all those around her for having a no-nonsense attitude, strong work ethic, integrity, meticulous attention to detail and unwavering reliability.

Gerri would say her greatest accomplishment in life was her daughter and best friend, Ashley. She was the happiest and most comfortable when they were together. Having the opportunity to be "Gigi" to her grandson, Jayden, brightened the already intense light in her eyes. The time they spent together brought her tremendous happiness. She always looked forward to their play dates, facetime calls, texts, silly videos and pictures. When she wasn't with Ashley or Jayden, it was likely that she was bragging about them or proudly recalling stories about them to others. Gerri was a nurturing mother, sister, daughter, aunt, Gigi, and dear friend who loved fiercely and unconditionally. She modeled compassion, selflessness, and acceptance. She was vivacious, fun-loving, supportive and had the most beautiful soul. Her dedication and devotion to her family were intense and Gerri never let anyone, or anything prevent her from protecting the ones she loved.

Her laughter was infectious and genuine. Her warm smile brightened all of our days. Anyone who met her found joy and instant comfort in her friendship. She enjoyed & cherished the camaraderie with her family and friends (Coca-Cola crew), was always up for a night of cards (Bingo), talking football (defending the Steelers), get- togethers with her close friends and traveling. She enjoyed trips to Ocala, Florida with her mother to visit her loving cousin Sam and extended family. One of her most recent and memorable trips was to Cancun, Mexico with Ashley & O'Neil.

Gerri was an incredibly special person who spread love and laughter wherever she went. Those who had the pleasure of knowing her will be forever blessed with her memories. As Ashley continues to honor, exemplify, and proudly carry on the teachings of her mother about unconditional love of life and love for those around her, there is solace in knowing that Gerri will continue to watch over, and guide all of us along the path that lies ahead.
