Gerald D. Soldo, 88, of North Syracuse passed away Thursday. Born in Utica, and a graduate of Syracuse University he was a veteran of the Army. He was employed with General Motors. He is predeceased by his wife, Marian (LaConte) Soldo, who passed away on September 4, 2007.
He is survived by three daughters; Judith (Richard) Donardo, Lauren (Thomas) Bray and Regina (Jeffrey) Ippolito, a son; Lawrence (Tina) Soldo, his grandchildren; David and Mark Donardo, Melissa and Thomas Bray, Kimberly Koegel, Kristin Enright, Gerald Soldo, Christina, Nicholas and Emily Ippolito and a great grandchild, Chase Enright. And a brother Nicholas Soldo.
Services will be held on Saturday at 10 AM at St. John's Church, 8290 Soule Rd., Liverpool. Burial will follow in Our Lady of Peace Cemetery, Clay. The family will greet friends from 8:30 am to 9:15 am, Saturday, before the services at New Comer Family Funeral Home, North Syracuse.
