Gerald P. Salvagni, 62, passed away on Saturday at Upstate University Hospital with his loving family by his side. Jerry was an avid SU Fan and just retired from Comfort Windows. Jerry was made an honorary firefighter of the Syracuse Fire Dept. He was predeceased by his father, Silvio Salvagni, Jr.
Gerald is survived by his wife, Kathleen of 34 years, daughters, Desiree (Raymond), Danielle, Deanna (David), Ryan (Thomas), 8 grandchildren, little Dave, Scottie, Hadleigh, Brianna, Payton, Devon, Clara, Silvia, 1 great grandson, baby Dave, his mother Wanda and brother Silvio, III.
Calling hours will be held on Saturday from 12-3pm at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St., N. Syracuse, with services to follow.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Coaches vs. Cancer (coachesvscancer.org) or to Burn Foundation of CNY burnfoundationofcny.org
