Gerald V. Richards, Sr.

Gerald V. "Jerry" Richards, Sr., 78, originally from Potsdam, NY, passed away on Friday at Sunnyside Care Center surrounded by loving family and staff.
He was born on January 31, 1938 son of Vernal and Lillian Richards.
He worked several years at Koerner Ford. Jerry enjoyed car shows where he showed and displayed his '79 Granada.
Most of all he loved his family.
He is predeceased by his wife Kathleen Alper.
Surviving are his daughter Lisa (Jeff) Myers, 6 grandchildren; Thomas (Sarah), Rachel (Justin), Samuel, Lincoln, and great grandson, Benson.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday 2pm at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St., N. Syracuse.
