Gerald (Jerry/Jubba) Reome, 64, of Mattydale, died on Tuesday at home surrounded by his family. He was born in Malone, NY & was a lifelong resident of Syracuse. Before his recent retirement, he worked at Ted's Electric for 17 years. Jerry enjoyed spending his free time with his family. He loved playing guitar, karaoke, playing dice, horseshoes & camping.
He is predeceased by his son, Derick Reome(1994), his parents: Earl & Simone Reome, 2 brothers: Darrel (his twin) & Earle Reome & his former wife, Margaret "Peggy" Reome.
He is survived by his companion of 26 years, Clare Vetovick, 5 sons: Gerald Christopher, Bill (Christina), Scott (Shannon), Jerry & Brandon Reome, 4 daughters: Jerilyn, Jennifer, Rebecca & Teresa Reome, 2 sisters: Linda (Mike) Fisher, Darlene (Donald) Overend & brother, Edward "Buster" (Debbie) Reome, 11 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, & several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles & cousins.
Calling hours will be held on Wednesday May 28th from 11am-1pm at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St., North Syracuse, with services to follow.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Hospice of CNY.
