Gerald Lloyd Fluno, 64, of North Syracuse, passed away Saturday at St. Joseph's Hospital. He was a bus driver for the North Syracuse School District, retiring in 2007 after 24 years of service. Gerald enjoyed fishing, hunting and playing bingo.
He is survived by his longtime companion, Diane Norton; 3 sons, Kevin, Gerald (Michele), Christopher Fluno; a daughter, Michele (Gene) Hemingway; step-daughter, Michele Calcagino;10 grand-children, 1 great grand-daughter; a sister, Faye Kirsch; former wife, Grace Fluno; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be Thursday, 6 PM at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St., North Syracuse. Burial will be private. Calling Hours will be Thursday, from 4-6 PM, before services.
