Gerald L. "Jerry" Kiely III, 75 of Syracuse, NY, passed away on Friday, July 21, 2023. Born in Rochester, NY on February 20, 1948 to the late Gerald Jr. and Sydna R Kiely.
He was a laborer for the City of Syracuse for 30 years, retiring in 2009. Jerry loved to go to Canada with family and friends. He enjoyed playing cards and spending time with his children and grandchildren.
He is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Christine; children, Michelle (Dan) Scobell, Jessica (Paul) Kiely, Terri Kiely, Gerald "Jerry" Kiely IV; grandchildren, Justin, Ryan, Kylee, Kadee Scobell, Evan Kiely, Alayna Wood, Gerald and Julius Kiely, Mason Maneri; his dog, Ruby; sister, Susan Ann (Barry) Hedley.
Predeceased by his brother, Frank Kiely.
Calling hours will be held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals on Saturday, July 29, 2023 from 2-6pm. Funeral service will follow at 6pm.
